A drive system drives the vehicle and a control system offers controls as per the need of a regular vehicle. An EV is hence, noiseless, a zero emission vehicle best used for intracity transport needs and for commuters traveling short distances. One charge of battery offers 80-100 kms with as cheap as 80 paise (INR 0.8 = USD 0.018) per km for a four seater car.
Holding a vast experience of every aspect in the field of engineering, A.T. Consultants has manufactured an electric vehicle. Primarily this battery operated zero emission single seater car was made for personal use.
After having a great response and suggestions from well wishers to commercialize such vehicles in the market, the company now proposes to proceed further and manufacture EVs for commercial market.
The company intends to make single seater wheel chair cars for senior citizens, twin seaters to accommodate two people, four seaters public transport vehicle and a 24 seaters mini bus to be used as city transport. The Designs are almost complete and a prototype should be ready soon. The drives, motors and batteries are supplied from renowned companies.
